1 big thing: We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growing commercial team at Axios HQ.

Why it Matters: As a Business Development Associate, you will serve an integral role in sourcing conversations with ICP prospects to drive pipeline and ultimately grow our customer base. 

Go deeper: Ideal candidates should have a passion for HQ's mission and values – raise the bar, stay curious, be inclusive, always, and champion each other – and have the following experience: 

• 1+ years of professional experience in a customer or client facing role - ex. business development, sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, etc.
• Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
• Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and comfort with regularly speaking with clients on the phone
• Eager for and receptive to feedback 

Nice to have:

• Experience managing sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals is a plus
• Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines

• Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. On target earning for this role is in the range of $60,000-$90,000/year and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skill
